Terms of use
These terms apply to the use of FUTLINE on futline.app. We have kept them as short and clear as possible.
1.The service
FUTLINE is a free-to-play table football game in the browser, with optional cosmetic purchases. The provider is the operator named in the legal notice.
We provide the free game as is. There is no entitlement to it being available at all times. FUTLINE may be closed for a short time for maintenance.
We keep developing FUTLINE. Features of the free game may therefore change, be added or be removed.
The reports by FUTLINE NEWS in the news are invented game events about clubs in the game. They contain no statements about real people or real clubs.
For items from the premium shop and for the Season Ticket, your statutory rights for digital products apply (§§ 327 ff. BGB). What else applies to them is set out under “Purchases in the premium shop” and “Season Ticket”.
2.Copyright
FUTLINE is protected by copyright. All rights to the game, the program code, graphics, logos, texts, sounds and design belong to TAKO Games.
You may only use FUTLINE as it is offered in the browser.
Without the prior written consent of TAKO Games you may not copy, rebuild, modify, redistribute or commercially use FUTLINE or any part of it. This also applies to the automated extraction of content and data.
You are welcome to share screenshots, videos and streams of your own matches. In doing so, you must not give the impression that FUTLINE comes from you or that you act on behalf of TAKO Games.
3.Account
An account belongs to exactly one person. You may not share it or pass it on.
Keep your password secret. If you think someone else knows it, please contact us.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are younger, you need your parents’ consent. You confirm this when you sign up.
You can delete your account yourself at any time on the “Account” page.
4.Rules of conduct
Everyone should feel welcome at FUTLINE. That is why the following is not allowed:
- insulting, discriminatory, sexual, violence-glorifying or extremist names, crests, images, posts, comments or other content
- names that refer to political parties or politicians, whatever their direction, and names that stir up hate, exclude people or glorify violence or war (for every name in the game: usernames, club names, tags, stadium names and guest names)
- spam, meaning masses of identical or pointless posts and comments
- pretending to be someone else
- names, logos and crests of real clubs, real leagues or federations, other people’s trademarks and anything that suggests an official licence
- cheats, bots and any kind of automation
- exploiting bugs in the game
- attacks on the service, for example overloading it or trying to break into other people’s accounts
FUTLINE uses only fictional clubs. We are not affiliated with any real club, league or federation.
If you find a bug in the game, we are happy to hear about it.
5.Measures in case of violations
If an account or a club breaks these rules or the law, depending on the seriousness we may:
- change names, tags and stadium names or require a new name
- remove crests and profile pictures
- hide or delete posts and comments
- hide an entry in the Hall of Legends
- suspend an account for a certain time or permanently, if necessary also the device used
- dissolve a club
In doing so we take into account how serious the violation is, whether it is repeated, and your legitimate interests.
If our system notices something unusual, such as a program that sends far more inputs than a person can, it only reports it to the operator. A suspension is always decided by a person, with reasons. A shared device or network is only ever a hint, never proof.
How we proceed and how you can object is set out under “Content moderation”.
6.Content moderation
So that FUTLINE stays a friendly place, including for young players, we moderate content. This covers all content that players post: usernames, club names, tags, stadium names, crests, profile pictures, posts, comments and shared clips. This is how we proceed:
- Automatic check: we check names, crests, profile pictures, posts and comments automatically before they are published. For this we use word lists, a model that detects insulting and hurtful texts, and image recognition models. All of them run on our own server. If content fails the check, it is not published and you see that at once. For names and pictures we do not give a single reason. Which names and pictures are not allowed is listed under “Rules of conduct”. If you think the decision is wrong, object right there via “Wrong decision? Report it”.
- Reports: anyone can report content under “Report content” (futline.app/melden), also without an account. There is a link for this under club pages, clips, invitations and posts. A report should say where the content is and why it is illegal or breaks these terms. If you give an e-mail address, we confirm receipt and tell you our decision. When signed in, you can also report posts and comments directly with the flag.
- Hiding: if three different players report the same post or comment, our system temporarily hides it.
- Review by a person: the operator checks every report and every hidden item by hand, promptly, carefully and without arbitrariness. He decides whether the content stays, is changed or is deleted and whether further measures are needed.
If we remove, change or hide content of yours, we tell you in the game as a notification, with the reasons (Art. 17 DSA): what we did, whether an automatic system or a person decided, which rule we rely on and how you can object. If we suspend your account, you see the reason and the duration when you sign in.
Objection: if you disagree with a decision, object under “Report content” with “Object to a decision” or by e-mail. A person looks at the decision again and tells you the result. Your right to go to court remains unaffected.
If someone sends manifestly unfounded reports or objections in large numbers, we may stop handling their reports for a reasonable time after a warning.
Our single point of contact for authorities and for users under Art. 11 and 12 DSA is futline@reico-it.de. You can write to us in German, English or French.
7.Virtual items
Taler are your club’s virtual play money with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, paid out or exchanged. You earn them only by playing and inviting.
Taler, contracts and clubs are game items without monetary value. There is no right to keep them.
This does not apply to items you bought in the premium shop. The rules under “Purchases in the premium shop” apply to them.
Game items may not be traded for real money.
8.Founders’ Weeks
Founders’ Weeks (12 Oct 2026 to 8 Nov 2026, 23:59 CET). Clubs founded in this period start in Divisions 9 to 4 with no licence fee while founder places are left there (per country: Divisions 9 to 7 nine each, 6 and 5 six each, Division 4 three). When a division is full, it is full. Division 10 always has room. Each person gets at most one founder place. A founder club that plays no live league match for about 3 days (exact count under “Inactive clubs”) is relegated to Division 10 at the end of the season.
Founder bonus: for friends who sign up through your link in this period and play their first live league match by 15 Nov 2026, 23:59 CET, your club gets 500 Taler (1 friend), another 1,500 (3 friends) and another 3,500 (7 friends), at most 5,500 Taler in total for its club funds. Your friend’s new club gets 500 Taler start money. Accounts used on the same device as your account do not count. If your friend uses the same internet connection as you (for example the same Wi-Fi), they only count for the founder bonus once at least 72 hours have passed since their account was created and they have played at least three live league matches to the end with that account by 15 Nov 2026, 23:59 CET. Both conditions must be met. There is no reward for merely sharing.
Taler are your club’s virtual play money with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, paid out or exchanged. You earn them only by playing and inviting. No purchase is necessary. In case of abuse, such as second or fake accounts, we may withhold or remove rewards. We will only end the promotion early in the event of abuse or technical problems, and we will announce this in the game. Rewards already earned are kept.
9.How a purchase is made
You take out the Season Ticket like this:
- On the Season Ticket page you choose the monthly or the yearly subscription. Then you come to our payment page (futline.app/dauerkarte/bezahlen).
- There you enter your card or other payment details in the payment field of our payment provider Stripe, which is embedded in our page.
- Directly above the button “Subscribe with obligation to pay” you see the summary of your contract: price, term, cancellation and the notice of your right of withdrawal.
- Below it you tick two boxes: “I am of full age (18 or older).” and that you accept these terms of use. There you also find the links to the terms of use, the withdrawal information and the privacy policy.
- The contract is concluded when you click “Subscribe with obligation to pay” and the payment is authorised. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure).
A purchase in the premium shop works like this:
- You choose an item and see its price and description.
- You tick the required boxes: “I am of full age (18 or older).” and your consent that we deliver at once, with the confirmation that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (see “Withdrawal information”). Then you click “Continue to payment”. This does not order anything yet: it only takes you to Stripe’s payment page.
- On Stripe’s payment page you enter your e-mail address and payment details and see the item and price once more.
- The contract is concluded when you click “Pay” on Stripe’s payment page and the payment is completed.
Until you click “Subscribe with obligation to pay” or “Pay” you can correct your entries at any time. Go back, change your choice or cancel by closing the page.
The contract language is German. Translations of these terms are for your understanding only.
We store the data of your purchase. You can open, print or save these terms on this page at any time. After the contract is concluded we send you the contract confirmation by e-mail to the address you gave when doing so. You get invoices and receipts from Stripe.
10.Purchases in the premium shop
In the premium shop you can buy items for your club that only change the look, for example table felts and balls. They give no advantage in play. Club owners and managers can make purchases. The item then belongs to the club it was bought for. Talers cannot be bought in the premium shop, and there are no purchases with random contents.
All prices are final prices. As a small business under § 19 UStG we charge no VAT. Payment is made through our payment provider Stripe. How the contract is concluded is set out under “How a purchase is made”.
You may only buy if you are of full age, that is at least 18 years old. You confirm this with a checkbox before every purchase. You may play from a younger age (see “Account”).
Purchased items stay with the club for as long as it exists. If the club is dissolved, for example because it was inactive, your purchases automatically move with you to the next club you found or join.
If a payment is refunded or charged back, we remove the item again.
For your right of withdrawal, the withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form below apply.
11.Season Ticket
With the Season Ticket you support FUTLINE. It helps us keep the servers running and the game free for everyone.
The Season Ticket comes in two versions:
- Monthly subscription for €3.99 per month. It renews automatically for one month at a time. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid month.
- Yearly subscription: €39.99 for the first 12 months, paid in advance (equivalent to €3.33 per month). After that €3.99 per month, cancellable at any time with effect from the end of the month.
With the yearly subscription you pay the first 12 months at once, in advance. These 12 months are the minimum term. After that the contract continues for an indefinite period as a monthly subscription, at the monthly price we told you when you bought it. We fix this monthly price when you buy. As a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid month, so the notice period is never longer than one month. There is no renewal for another year. The details are under “Cancelling the Season Ticket”.
All prices are final prices. As a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge VAT. Payment is handled by our payment provider Stripe, the recurring payments run through Stripe Billing. You enter your payment details on our payment page in Stripe’s embedded payment field. We never see card details. How the contract is concluded is set out under “How a purchase is made”. You receive invoices and payment receipts from Stripe.
You may only buy the Season Ticket if you are of full age, that is at least 18 years old. You confirm this expressly with a checkbox when you buy.
While your Season Ticket is active, you get:
- a supporter badge (ticket) on your profile, on the club page, in league tables, in the game room and on share cards
- a ticket frame around your club’s crest, if you own the club
- special frames for share cards
- an exclusive supporter collection for the club you play in: table felt, ball, figures, boards and goal effect
All of this only changes how things look. The Season Ticket contains no Taler, gives no sporting advantage and has no effect on matches. Unlike items from the premium shop, the supporter collection belongs to the club only while your Season Ticket is active. It ends with it.
When your Season Ticket ends, your badge stays visible in grey as “Former Season Ticket”, with the number of your supporter months. If you take out a Season Ticket again later, the months keep counting.
If you like, you can be shown in the Hall of Legends (futline.app/legenden). By default this is switched off. You switch it on, and off again at any time, on the Season Ticket page. There you can also hide your badge from others. What is shown is explained in the privacy policy under “Season Ticket: badge and Hall of Legends”. The operator can hide individual entries in the Hall of Legends.
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again. This applies to both options. Your Season Ticket then stays active for 3 more days beyond the paid period. If no payment arrives by then, it ends.
If a payment is refunded or charged back, the Season Ticket ends at once.
A price increase only applies to a running Season Ticket if you expressly agree to it. If you do not agree, your Season Ticket continues at the previous price. We may then terminate it with one month’s notice with effect from the end of a paid month, for the yearly subscription at the earliest with effect from the end of the first 12 months. The monthly price at which the yearly subscription continues after the first 12 months is fixed when you buy. We announce price changes in the game at least one month in advance.
We only change features of the Season Ticket during its term for a valid reason, for example new legal requirements, security reasons or because a part of the game changes. The change costs you nothing and we tell you beforehand. If a change affects your Season Ticket more than insignificantly, you can end the contract free of charge within 30 days of the change (§ 327r BGB). We then refund the part of the price for the time after the end of the contract, as the law provides (§ 327r(4) with § 327o BGB).
If you delete your account, your Season Ticket ends at once, and nothing more is charged. We do not refund the current paid period in that case, except after a valid withdrawal. We accept a withdrawal that you declare within the withdrawal period, before or after deleting your account. Deleting your account never takes away statutory refund claims. If we suspend your account permanently because you seriously breached these terms, the Season Ticket ends as well. We then refund, pro rata, any paid time after that end.
Your right of withdrawal is governed by the withdrawal information, including the part “Withdrawal from the Season Ticket”, and the model withdrawal form below.
12.Cancelling the Season Ticket
You can cancel the monthly subscription at any time with effect from the end of the paid month. Until then your Season Ticket stays active. After that, nothing more is charged.
For the yearly subscription the first 12 months are the minimum term. You can cancel at any time during this period. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the 12th month. Until then your Season Ticket stays active, and after that nothing more is charged. We do not refund the amount paid in advance in that case, except after a valid withdrawal.
If you do not cancel in the first 12 months, the yearly subscription then continues for an indefinite period as a monthly subscription, at the monthly price we told you when you bought it. From then on you can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid month. There is no renewal for another year.
For both options there are three ways to cancel:
- in the game on the Season Ticket page, with one click on the cancel button
- in Stripe’s customer portal
- without signing in, via the link “Cancel contracts here” in the footer of futline.app (futline.app/kuendigen). There you enter the e-mail address you gave when taking out the Season Ticket, or you sign in. Then you confirm with the “Cancel now” button.
Right after sending, you see a confirmation of receipt. It contains the content of your cancellation (which contract, who cancels, whether it is an ordinary or extraordinary cancellation and, if given, the reason), the date and time of receipt and the time at which the contract ends. If we cannot determine the end at once, for example for an extraordinary cancellation, we check it by hand and tell you the end date. You can save or print the confirmation. We also send it to you by e-mail, to the address you give there, otherwise to the address you gave when taking out the Season Ticket.
When you cancel, you can name a later day instead of the next possible date. The contract then ends with the paid period in which that day falls. Until then the Season Ticket runs and is charged as before. If you cancel in Stripe’s customer portal, we send you the same confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
You can undo a cancellation in the game on the Season Ticket page until the contract ends. This applies to the monthly and the yearly subscription, within the first 12 months and after them.
A 12-month Season Ticket that you bought with a one-time payment before 15 October 2026 ends by itself after 12 months and does not need to be cancelled.
Your right to terminate for good cause without notice (extraordinary cancellation) remains unaffected. There is good cause if, taking into account all circumstances and the interests of both sides, you cannot reasonably be expected to continue the contract until its next regular end. This applies to both Season Ticket options.
13.Withdrawal information
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us
Philipp ReimannIn der Stöck 2271566 AlthütteGermanyPhone: +49 156 78991528E-mail: futline@reico-it.de
of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at futline.app/widerrufen (link “Withdraw from contract” in the footer of every page). If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (for example by e-mail) without delay, with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time it was received.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
Your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun providing the item you bought after you expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, you confirmed that you know you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we confirmed the contract to you on a durable medium, for example by e-mail (§ 356(5) BGB).
You give this consent and confirmation by ticking a box before every purchase in the premium shop. We send you the confirmation of the contract by e-mail after the payment.
Withdrawal from the Season Ticket
For the Season Ticket (monthly or yearly subscription) we do not ask you to waive your right of withdrawal. So here your right of withdrawal does not expire early, even if you are already using the Season Ticket. The withdrawal period of fourteen days starts when the contract is concluded. It does not start again with later payments.
If you validly withdraw within these fourteen days, we voluntarily refund the full amount, even if you have already used the Season Ticket. The Season Ticket then ends at once. The refund is initiated at once; depending on your bank it may take a few days until the money is in your account. At the latest we refund within fourteen days of receiving your withdrawal. For the refund we use the same means of payment that you used for the payment.
A clear statement to the contact details above is enough to withdraw, for example by e-mail, or the online function “Withdraw from contract” (futline.app/widerrufen). You can also use the model withdrawal form below.
14.Model withdrawal form
If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back.

15.Advertising
The sponsors that clubs sign contracts with in the game are fictional companies.
In club matches we also show ads of real companies on the boards. They are always labelled “AD” (advertisement).
If you click an ad, we first ask whether you want to leave FUTLINE. Only then does the advertiser’s website open in a new tab. The advertiser is responsible for that website.
What data is processed when you do so is explained in the privacy policy under “Advertising on the boards”.
16.Advertising terms for advertisers
This section only applies to companies that book advertising on the boards with us.
FUTLINE is also played by young people. That is why we do not show ads for:
- alcohol
- tobacco
- gambling
- erotic content
- political content
Ads must not directly urge children to buy.
We may reject or remove ads that break these terms.
The advertiser alone is responsible for the website an ad links to. The advertiser makes sure that the ad and the landing page do not infringe the rights of others or any law. If third parties raise claims against us because of this, the advertiser indemnifies us against them. This includes reasonable legal defence costs.
We only show ads that are large enough for the “AD” label. Which ad runs depends only on the country of the home club.
The figure “Spiele gezeigt” (matches shown) counts the club matches in which an ad ran. It does not say how many people saw the ad. We only count a click when someone confirmed the prompt and opened the advertiser’s website.
Prices on request at futline@reico-it.de. As a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge VAT.
17.Inactive clubs
To keep the leagues alive, this rule applies to inactive clubs:
- If the members of a club play no league match live for about 3 days, the club is marked as inactive. Counted exactly, that is 12 matchdays when a matchday lasts 6 hours, or 9 matchdays when it lasts 8 hours.
- Inactive clubs are relegated at the end of the season, regardless of their position in the table.
- If an inactive club is in the lowest division at the end of the season, it is dissolved. Its place goes to a computer club.
Purchased items of a dissolved club automatically move to your next club (see “Purchases in the premium shop”).
18.Sponsors, debts and insolvency in the game
The club economy is part of the game and only uses Taler, virtual play money with no monetary value. Things can also go badly:
- If a club loses many league matches over a long time, its sponsor may terminate the contract early. New sponsor offers follow.
- The club funds can go into the red. While they are in the red, no upgrades and no purchases with Taler are possible.
- If a club has many debts and keeps losing money for a long time, it files for insolvency. It can save itself until the end of the season, for example with wins, lower wages or an emergency sale.
- If that does not work, the club starts again in the lowest division next season. The debts are written off, and facilities and reputation start again from scratch. Name, crest, members and trophies stay, and the club is not deleted.
All of this only affects the virtual game state. Items you bought in the premium shop are never affected and stay with the club. We announce each of these steps in the game beforehand.
19.Your content
You alone are responsible for everything you add to FUTLINE. This includes usernames, club and stadium names, tags, crests, profile pictures and other uploaded images as well as posts and comments.
By adding content you confirm that you hold all necessary rights to it, for example copyright, trademark, name and personality rights. You also confirm that the content does not infringe the rights of others or any law.
If content you added infringes the rights of others, you are liable for it yourself.
If third parties raise claims against TAKO Games or the operator of FUTLINE because of it, you indemnify us against these claims. This includes reasonable legal defence costs. This does not apply if you are not responsible for the infringement.
Our automatic check of names, images and texts is meant to catch serious violations. It does not replace your own check and does not relieve you of your responsibility.
We may change or remove content that violates these terms or the rights of others without prior notice.
You grant us a non-exclusive, free-of-charge right to display your content in the game for as long as it is used there. All other rights remain with you.
20.Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential obligation, we are only liable for the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Essential obligations are those whose fulfilment makes the use of FUTLINE possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely.
Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
Your statutory rights in case of defects of digital products (§§ 327 ff. BGB) remain unaffected.
21.Changes
We may change these terms for the future if there is a valid reason, for example new features, new laws or court rulings. We announce changes in the game at least two weeks in advance.
For using the free game, the new terms apply from the announced day. If you do not agree, you can delete your account at any time.
For contracts you have already concluded, that is purchases in the premium shop and a running Season Ticket, the terms of the day the contract was concluded continue to apply. Changes only apply to them if you expressly agree. For changes to the features and the price of the Season Ticket, the section “Season Ticket” applies.
22.Applicable law
German law applies.
If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected.
23.Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a concern, just write to us. We will gladly work with you directly to find a solution.
