Frequently asked questions
FUTLINE is table football in your browser, also known as foosball. Here are short answers for everyone new, and for parents.
Is FUTLINE free?
Yes. Playing, the league and your own club cost nothing. If you like, you can buy premium looks with real money, but never an advantage in play.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play against bots, or with friends via a link, without signing up. For your own club and the league you need a free account.
Which devices does FUTLINE run on?
Phones, tablets and computers, right in the browser. On a phone you play with your finger, on a computer with mouse, keyboard or gamepad.
Do I need to download anything?
No, FUTLINE runs right in your browser. If you like, you can add it to your home screen like an app.
How do I play with a friend?
Choose “Play a friend” and send the link. Whoever opens it joins right away. In teams you play up to 4 vs 4 and share the rods.
How long is a match?
A match against a bot lasts 90 seconds. Club matches last 4 minutes, with a break at half-time. When you play friends via a link, the host sets the match length.
How does the league work?
You found a club, pick one of 8 countries and play there in one of 10 divisions. A new matchday starts every 8 hours. The best clubs go up, the bottom clubs go down.
What happens if I miss a league match?
It becomes a make-up match. You can still play it live until the end of the next matchday. Only then is it simulated with your team’s strength. There is no make-up match for the last matchday of a season.
What are Taler, and can I buy an advantage?
Taler are your club’s money. You earn them with wins, tickets and sponsors. Talers are not for sale, and real money only buys looks, never strength.
What are bot clubs?
Bot clubs fill every division, so there are always enough opponents. They are marked as bot clubs everywhere. When you found a club, it takes over the place of a bot club.
Is FUTLINE suitable for children?
You can play without any account, and there are no private messages between players. Names, pictures, posts and comments are checked automatically, and anyone can report content. Under 16, an account needs a parent’s consent. Only people of full age (18 or older) can buy anything (Season Ticket, shop).
What is the Season Ticket?
The Season Ticket supports FUTLINE: €3.99 a month, cancel any time to the end of the month. Or yearly: €39.99 for the first 12 months, paid in advance (equal to €3.33 per month). After that €3.99 per month, cancel any time to the end of the month. You get a badge, special looks for your club and, if you like, a place in the Hall of Legends. It never gives Taler or any advantage in play.
